Bye, Bye Diabetes!

We had just enjoyed a band concert where our grandson Seth was playing, near South Centre in Seattle. And we headed over to the Cheesecake Factory for a quick lunch.

As we were waiting for our turkey burgers, we saw this lady get a huge hot fudge sundae. We could tell she was amazed at how big it was. She caught us watching her, so I gave her two thumbs up! She smiled as if to say, "I don't know how I will ever eat all of this?" ... and I doubt that she did.

We finished our burgers, and she was still nursing her sundae. So I went over and sat down next to her. I told her I would love to have a sundae like she had, but I have diabetes. She told me that she used to have diabetes... got diagnosed when she was 65.  She is now 85 and has been free of diabetes for about 15 years. I congratulated her and told her when I am 85 I hope to get me a hot fudge sundae too. But not until I get my blood score down to 5 or less.

Let me introduce you to Grace Miller. May she live to celebrate many more birthdays!

If you are working to say "Bye, bye to diabetes," drop me a note and tell me your story. I would like to make a blog to celebrate those who are dedicated to winning the battle against diabetes. Let's encourage each other and with the synergy we will generate, WE CAN DO IT!

An excellent resource that we have found valuable is the book, "Goodbye Diabetes," by Wes Youngberg... preventing and reversing diabetes the natural way.  There are many good resources, but none is better in guiding you toward the goal of eliminating diabetes from your life.

"Diabetes is kind of like a messy room."

"A person who no longer fits the criteria for diabetes (without taking medications) should no longer be considered diabetic." -Wes Youngberg

This is not mainstream medical thinking... Most of them say once you have diabetes you will have if for the rest of your life. Avoid products that say that they can cure diabetes... there is no cure.

I want to dedicate my life to proving that diabetes can be reversed and eliminated. Will you join me in doing it?
